The Yoga Barn offers classes in Hatha Yoga and Qigong (Chi Gong), time honored practices of self development. Excellent teaching, a friendly atmosphere and beautiful surroundings are all part of the studio’s commitment to quality.
The studio's classes are healing and therapeutic in nature, designed to relieve stress from the body & mind, maintain healthy joints, enhance the immune system, and bring greater vitality to the whole being.
For over two decades Deborah Borel, studio director, has studied the history, culture, philosophies, and practices of yoga and qigong, attending workshops, intensives and completing teacher training with world renowned masters and educators in these arts.
Her practices, as well as a background in dance and theater, create a diverse range of experience in the healing and kinesthetic arts from which she draws to create a unique teaching style and class experience. Deborah is registered with the Yoga Alliance E-RYT-500.

Coiling Silk Yoga is a flowing fusion of Hatha Yoga and Coiling Silk Qigong ~ utilizing the inherent coils, circles and loops in the body to create a gentle opening while moving vital energy throughout the whole being. An energizing workout for all levels.
Oriental Dance is Back at the Yoga Barn!
Tuesday evenings 6-7pm 6 week series May 3 - June 7
Belly Dance Instructor, Christina Ali, is all about the fusion and brings a broad spectrum of Oriental Dance to the class room. She enjoys combining elements from Egyptian and Turkish styles, Tribal Fusion, and American Caberet, as well as additional dance genres.
Christina has studied locally with Zaina Ali for the past six years as well as Amy Joe of Troupe Duende, Melody Gabriel, and Layla Ali of Kansas City. She is currently completing the Zoe Jake's DanceCraft program and is privileged to study with Zoe several times a year. In addition, Christina has had the opportunity to train with Ami Sigil and April Rose of Unmata, Donna Meija, Heather Stance, Kami Liddle, Rachel Brice, Michelle Sorenson, Raphealla, Luna of Cairo, and many others. She continues to actively train in belly dance, classical Indian dance, ballet, modern, and hip hop.
Classes with Christina will include a warm-up, learning and drilling specific isolations, moves, and combinations as well as a fun choreography to work on each week.
